IM Prelims in SoCal

Hello,

I am preparing to apply to preliminary programs in souther california (mostly LA) and was wondering if anyone had any comments as to the general quality of the programs in this area (teaching, intern friendly, treatment of prelims, etc).

I was also wondering about the St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach in particular, as I haven't found any comments on this program in other forums.

Any input would be appreciated. If I am posting in the wrong IM forum area, or if there have been any previous posts here that i could be directed to, please let me know.
