Hey all. I'm an American doing my MD at Flinders in Australia and was looking into the process of applying to residency back in the states. I am pretty early in my degree but only now I realized that US clinical experience/rotations are crucial for residency applications.
I emailed my school and they said they have NO affiliations with any hospital/medical center in the United States. Not a single one. At least UQ for example has partnerships with some hospital, but my school does not have any. That means its less likely that I'll be able to do rotations in US.
Are there any people who went to Flinders and ended up matching into the US residency that can give me advice? Or what they did in this situation? Hoping that I can speak to someone
