can some one be kind enough to explain the mechanism on how IgM opsonizes B-cells, and why?

IgG's have opsonins which help in phagocytosis.[opsonization means coating of particles to improve digestion]
Lymphocytes have Fc receptors for the Fc receptor of IgG.The IgG opsonizes the Ag so that phagocytosis becomes easy for the phagocytic cells.Hope this helps

why would a B-cell be osponized? As we know B-cells give rise to to plasma cells, w/c antibodies are synthesized from, mature B-cells that express class II MHC proteins, and memory B-cells that are activted in response to re-exposure....I was under the notion that osponization was contributed by certain complent factors as well as IgG to help phagocyt certain organsims such as bacteria, cell debris or dead host cells, but not to a B-cell. Perhaps if it is an antigen-antibody complex, i might have an inclination to understand.
