I got a bunch of books that are older for cheap and I'm wondering if anyone had any input on how important it was to use the latest edition for rotations? Or should I update the most important ones, like the internal medicine books?

Depends. How old?

A few years is fine. Don't go buying Harrison's 1st edition.

U def don't use textbooks to study during third year. Maybe to look something up but ur school library should have some system for that or even better uptodate.

Agreed. I read Harrison's 17th and don't remember a thing. Read the blueprints series. Blueprints blueprints blueprints and UpToDate.

they should be fine, other than vaccinations and health screening. that crap changes, what feels like, daily. I have the 2nd edition of step up to medicine and basically the entire vaccination and health screening section is wrong.
