Okay Santy, you have to walk me through this.
We have eight players in a game. Likely 1 (hella juiced) or 2 wolves. I don't know how many shots you have, but just throwing a shot at the wall is not really beneficial. What if you hit a jailor, seer, etc.? As it is you hit a villager and made it easier for wolves to hit parity.
Basically... what were you thinking? You've definitely played enough WW to know vigilantes aren't always village (at least, not here) and that it wouldn't clear you.

I know my self-esteem was already low, but now its below the ground. Maybe if I say that I killed someone else I would be forgiven? If only....

Worst part is that after that I am yeeted people will blame me for the Village losing and 'derailing the day with my skill issue' . AhHhHhHhhhhhAHhhhh . I only wanted to be praised, was I so wrong? Is it so hard to figure out that I am villa?

Oop I made a typo. It was not forgotten, I wanted to say Forgiven. My skill issue is still showing
 
To clarify, I mean don't bring self esteem/IRL stuff into the game. Making a WW mistake isn't a reflection of real life abilities or such. Let's just focus on the task at hand.
 
So on the one hand we need to consider why would Santy shoot AM and claim the shot as a villager vs. as a wolf.

As a villager - if correct, claim the shot, get the town cred. Etc.

But then as a villager why would you do that when there had only been 2 posts in the game? Like try to narrow it down first and get some sort of read of everyone. AM’s post was basically a copy pasta of every other opening post she makes in games, so it’s not even like it was a snap judgment based on the one post. It was literally an RNG shot.

As a wolf - Thin out village numbers early, obviously but why claim?

It’s possible we’re dealing with an yeet avoidance/alpha situation, like genny mentioned, depending on if we’re looking for one wolf or two. Still feels weird to out yourself like that regardless, but would be more plausible if not lone wolfing.

alpha wolf with a day vig shot? in a game this small? my thought is that santy claimed early, hoping we'd deem the action twtbw and pick another target by tomorrow.

the other concern i have is jester, but then that gets into a whole bunch of wifom. so i'm just going to park my vote and wait.

Sigh. If I say that I didn't kill AM and claimed it to get noticed no one is going to believe me at this point right?

BUt then, I also feel hurt that people believed so easily that I as any alignment would shoot AM in that way and claim it in the thread wowee. Being born with Skill Issue sure is hard

Agree, especially considering I wouldn't even expect Clem to have... said anything? Normally. Hard to explain but it's very strange that his only post is that and then he deuced.
