I didn't study well and perhaps not as effectively. As a result, I'm just a 2 weeks into sN2ed schedule (despite starting it in May *gasp* )

My test date is 9/11. I am thinking to finish up the content + the practice tests in 1 month and start August doing the last month of Sn2ed, namely the AAMC passages.

Any advice, words of encouragement? In some ways i feel like I'll be OK, 2 months of studying is pretty good amount of time (enough, as anything more than than tends to be less effective anyways).

Why are you so behind in the schedule?
If the material is too dense and abstract for you, that's one thing (and totally acceptable. TBR is not for everyone). I would definitely try to postpone and grab a TPRH set or something for content.

If it's because you aren't working every day, or you're only doing an hour or two a day, then it's a problem of commitment. What is getting in the way of your studying? Why would it be any different once in medical school, studying for USMLE?

You only want to take this test once. Telling yourself that your content review has been 'good enough' on the eve of test day is risky at best.

I think it's because TBR is very dense. I would suggest switching to TPR or EK. They are easier/faster to read.

I have a TPHR set. I wonder if I should read TPHR chapters and then lightly read TBR for strategy/tricks (TBR isn't that bad for PHY/CHEM) but OChem I think i'll do TPR and TBR passages.

sn2ed says that take 4 practice tests before consider delaying so I think the best strategy for me is to push through, focus, and finish content (with good understanding ) and take practices tests.

Stop being lazy and do the necessary work. There's no way you are in week 2 since May just because it's "too dense." And if that were the case, you have a learning disability and won't make it through need school.

Try setting mini-deadlines in your head. You are approaching this as, studying for this test that's 3 months away. But the process of studying is really the battle, the test will take care of itself if you take care of the process. So make sure you finish daily, whatever you decide you want to finish.

When I was studying, it wasn't the test that stressed me out. It was making sure I finished all the studying I wanted to do. The test itself was almost an afterthought.

Depending on how strong your pre-reqs are, you might be fine.

I did an abbreviated SN2ed (2 months before test date, only first 1/3 of each BR chapter) and felt well prepared for my first practice exam that I just finished taking. Actual test day is in a little under 3 weeks, so I think it'll end up working out.

almost 2 months in to SN2-ed, w. mcat on 8/22. Honestly....postpone your date. Then stop being lazy, get yourself together, and work towards a goal. The SN2-ed schedule has been great for me so far. There are MAYBE two weeks you could pack together but it would be too draining IMO.
