In need of some serious advice.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping if you guys could give me some advice and let me know what you think i should do. I did my DAT for the first time last week and i got these

Bio 17
Ochem 21
QR 19
RC 17
Gchem 21
PAT 18
AA 19 83%
TS 19 86%
Both sGPA and cGPA are 3.4 .

I submitted my application about 10 days ago. I have been reading the SDN posts ( 24 AA and such) and i feel like my scores are crappy. I however, looked on predents.com and schools' websites and i see the average of ppl who got in is about TS and AA of 18-23. I only wish i had got a 19 or something on Bio cuz with that i could have a AA and TS of 20 🙁 I studied for 25 days.
I have 4 recommendation letter, one better than the other. 300 hours of volunteering in 4 different places ie: stroke facility, vice president of club at university, volunteer at ER, and another university position. I also have about 110 hours of shadowing with 3 different dentists and add to that about 1400 of work experience as assistant manager in a bakery. Overall, i am people's person.I applied to 15 schools: Now the questions are

1-Do you think i will need to re-write the DAT again this year? (It will be in october and i will have 4, 500 Biochem courses to finish during that time. I dont wana focus on DAT too much and mess up my GPA)

2-Do you think my application is good enough for an interview for this year?

Overall, i am not sure if my DAT scores are gona mess up my application. I feel like everything on my application (GPA, EC, LOR, shadowing) is good except for that 17 Bio. 🙁
( Ps. that RC 17 is the best i can do. i have been speaking english for 4 years now and i truly believe i can only pull off a 17-18 on DAT and people need to understand that)

Assuming you apply to 20 schools, I just don't see how 20 schools would reject you. Your overall numbers are good.

IMO, you don't need a retake. Sure the 17 in Bio and RC hurt, but apparently, one of those scores is your maximum limit, and since english isn't your strong suit, you might end up with less than 17 RC next time (big no-no).

Apply to 20 schools and (IMO, you'll get in)
