I think you are fine. If he wanted to do anything you would have known, I don't think they write any kind of report, except your score, so relax,,,,,

hello~

I took my dat today and during my break I went outside to have a candy bar. Meanwhile, a question on the bio section of the test that i was not sure i answered correctly kept bugging me during break. Having had my bag with me (which had my candy bar and drink) i wanted to look up the answer.

Right then, the administrative guy came out and told me i couldn't look through notes or books. I told him i didn't know and he told me it was ok.

So all went well and i received my grade printout at the end of the test.

But now, i am worried/paranoid about how maybe the guy wrote/reported a testing irregularity/incidence report? Are they supposed to let you know if they had filed a report? If not, is there a way i can find out without drawing any unwanted attention to my situation?

That is great news! He seemed ok....told me "thats ok." but then again, he seems like the "straight arrow type" that will go by the rules on everything. So maybe he wrote a report?....just to follow procedure?

Also, IF he did write any type of report...would i ever find out about it (i mean even if my scores don't get voided?)? More importantly, will the dental schools find out....????

It's not like you could have gone back to that section and changed any answers... I doubt he would make a big deal out of it. If they wanted to make a big deal about it, they would have done it then.

I find that he questioned you at all very strange. When I took the DAT, during my break I left the room, had a snack and looked through my QR equations that I had prepared. I think you are allowed to look at anything you want to. There's no possible way you could go back to those sections on the test so I don't even see what the concern is.
