Now that plastix is now 3 instead of 2 years in the independent model, do u think that it will be easier to get? I have no idea. I am applying to independent plastics next year as an ENT resident, which is a disadvantage as compared to being GS. Have Step I -99, Step II-92, with inservice scores in the 90s. I anticipate to have 6-8 publications by the time I apply. I think i'm pretty strong but again, my Acchiles heel to some bigshot PRS PD is not being GenSurg. All in all, I hope that w/ the training being longer I have a better shot. Thoughts? Thx
