As an update for LMU-DCOM:
The comments on there still hold, coming from a second year, so I won't bother doing a new one. However, the following changes have occurred:
-there is no longer a 2% bonus added on to your test for group exam...group exam is still available and greatly utilized by students, but it's optional now.
-we are no longer provided a board review course, which can be both good or bad. it would have been nice to have the free one, but now students are free to choose their own, if any.
-our pharm dept has gotten even BETTER than was previously referenced. all around, we have a fairly strong faculty.
-for those who never caught it, we were granted full accreditation with our first graduating class in 2011
-on the note of GME, we recently hired a GME director and there are a TON of residencies in the works (the school has 2 set up at this point: ortho in Kingsport and FP in Knoxville)
-we added a new rotation site in Hopkinsville KY and the site local to the area (Harrogate/Middlesboro/etc) was dissolved; there is talk of another site near even closer to Nashville in the upcoming years, but obviously I can't vouch for that 100%

This needs a sticky. Think of how many "which school should I choose X or Y" threads we get each year alone!

Unfortunately we will continue to get them, ha. But at least now when they introduce their thread by saying "I searched ALL OVER SDN for this topic but couldn't find anything, so....", we can call out their lie by referencing the sticky.

I think our flamez strike fear into the hearts of new posters. We do good work 'round hurr. 😎

No but seriously, STICKY. Pre-allo's got the LizzyM spreadsheet, why can't we have something that's sort of similar? Combined with that excellent spreadsheet put up earlier this week, I think it would be a wonderful source of information for everyone.

Most of the common posters here in the pre-DO are good people. Thanks for posting this. Extremely helpful to those trying to choose schools.
