A pregnancy with well controlled GD, normal baby weight, and no other abnormality, do you consider induction early or continue to watch it until week 42?

Well controlled with pharmacotherapy.

Well controlled with pharmacotherapy.

Typically induction at 39 weeks but you have to individualize treatment with each patient.

Delivery by a patient's due date at the latest. Generally delivered at 39 weeks or so.

From what I understand, the stillbirth rate is increased after 40 weeks compared to the general population and although the absolute number may be low, the benefit does not justify the risk of this.

A2 or greater equals 38 , 39 weeks at our clinic. Depends on control.

Out of curiosity, what would your answer be if it was controlled with diet?

Well controlled on diet, I would wait for her to labor with induction sometime between 41 and 42 weeks like everyone else. A lot depends on cervical exam.
