I'm doing fine in ochem, but I've been so inefficient. I probably spend 4 hours on ochem every study session just to work a chapter. I don't know how you people on SDN study for only an hour. I take notes while reading the textbook, attempt in-chapter problems, attempt end of chapter problems. Should I read the text first, re-read again and take notes--the in-chapter problems take me awhile since the material is new, once I can do them, end of chapter problems are doable.
Any tips for efficiency as I'd rather study for other things and not ochem all day. I already have a planner I use and plan what I'll do before a study session, but it seems ochem takes a chunk of my time, I also use the book "Ochem as 2nd language" which presents the "meat" and not filler like the textbook and doesn't take as long.
