Here's some info from the Dean Of Admissions at UF. I felt this might help some of you:

To: Predental Students
Subject: Changes in Dental School Application Process for 2005-2006

Please be aware that the national dental school application service, AADSAS (www.adea.org ), is changing the way you will apply to dental school beginning with the coming application cycle.

The AADSAS admissions website will open for applications for the class entering Fall 2006 beginning May15, 2005.

This year, for the first time, applicants are REQUIRED to send official transcripts from all college and universities attended directly to AADSAS.
Your application WILL NOT be processed until all of your official transcripts have been received in their offices.

This is because they will verify that your AADSAS application matches your official transcripts beginning this year.

BE SURE when you apply this year to:
1. request official transcripts to be sent to AADSAS as soon as you apply
2. remember to request transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended
3. enter courses on your application EXACTLY as they appear on your transcripts

The verification process will make application processing take longer than it did last year. Remember to apply early in the summer!

Good luck to all! :luck:
