Anyone use them? Particularly for ShareBuilder and IRAs? I've been banking with them since 2008, so I'm sold there. Just wondering if it would be worth it for me to start investing funds into these areas. I already have the majority of my funds in a savings account...should I allocate money to investing or retirement?

I'm clueless when it comes to money. I mean, I know how to stretch a dollar...just don't know where the money I save is best "spent."

You need to provide some more details. I have used INgdirect for their online savings account and it was ok. There are so many other online banks as well.

You can mix investing and retirement and it is called saving for retirement.
You need to start with 401k/403b first if you get a match from your employer and invest until match amount. If you are not getting any match then this should not be first priority.

Next is Roth IRA or IRA depending upon income level.

I found banks are not good place for investment money. You should consider opening a brokerage account although many banks have brokerage division within same institution as well.
