However, it's labled as ESPM 144 in my school's course list, ESPM = Environ Sci and Policy Management. I know that isn't included in BCPM, but could it be marked as biology based on how there is the word "physiology" in the course title?

It probably should count. Entomology (Study of insects) is a branch of zoology which is BCPM.

I definitely think it should qualify as a BCPM course. In general, AMCAS will look at both the department and course title when confirming classification, so I think you should be fine.

Btw - I saw ESPM and immediately thought Berkeley .. hello, fellow bear! 🙂

ooh, yeah that makes sense...now I can take zoology courses to boost up BCPM also!

And LOL do you live in 2050 VLSB? That is so sad....though congrats on being accepted to class of 2015 though!

I agree here, b/c it's more than 50% biology (biology being the study of life and insects being alive, and als already mentioned, entomology being a division of Biology) I think you'll have no trouble getting it to count.

The class department doesn't matter as much as content. I have taken classes in anthropology that teach anatomy (Intro human anatomy) that count as BCPM
