Insert beat to death question that I should have searched for here

Now I know that I should search for this, but I'm lazy and I'd prefer to pretend that I did to fend off anyone who would accuse me of not going through the arduous task of searching. In my searches (meaning the ones that dropped down after I inserted my title), the threads that I came across phrased the question by beginning with "Does". However, I am phrasing the question by beginning with "Do you think." Due to the incredible uniqueness of my variation of this question, I feel obligated to ask it rather than accepting the answer from a 100 other threads. So once again "insert beat to death question that should have been searched here?"

The threads are extended gutters and the gutters are full of neuroticism and when the threads finally lock, all the vermin will flame. The accumulated filth of all their "MD vs DO?" and "Which school should I go to?" will foam up about their waists and all the mods and admins will look up and shout 'Save us!' And I'll look down, and whisper 'Lol whut?'

Haha, as if comics weren't dorky enough, we had to take it to a whole new level.
 
Yeah, it's definitely that time of year again where newbies come out of the woodwork and fail to notice that there's a search function. So you get either a bunch of "LOR Question" threads or "26J/2.67" threads that aren't in What Are My Chances. :smack:
 
I think there should be a sticky with a flowchart for FAQs...

Well, listening to Bernoull. This is the Canadian flowchart. Someone could modify it for American schools. (Increase school tier-sytem, increase weightage of MCAT, decrease GPA.... yada yada)

A favorite of mine is "I got busted and convicted for possession of weed. Do I have to list it on my app?
 
Or "I took some community college classes in HS (or 10 yrs ago, etc.) and got a 1.5 GPA. Do I have to include them on my app?"
 
How about "I got 99.5% on my last midterm. My GPA is now going down a whooping 0.0001! OMFG....Is there ANY med school out there that I still have a shot at?????" 🙄

What is clinical volunteering and how do I get it?

A. patient contact work with no pay at a hospital, free clinic, hospice, etc.

It's a decision engine from a Microsoft.
 
What about, "What schools should I apply to?" With the implied, "and be sure to read my mind about my home state, the weather, city size, and training sites I prefer, and my favorite curriculum type. Current GPA (but not projected application GPAs) included, but often no definite MCAT score.
