This is making me uncomfortable.

For instance, I still find the term 'cleavage furrow' incredibly funny.

I hate foleys- I am sure I could insert it to someone else just fine but I have had to have them twice when hospitalized for stuff- no fun! I think it might be worse in a guy cuz the hole is smaller but I nearly came off the table my first one... It wasn't too bad while it was in... however after it comes out that whole area is sore and I personally felt like I needed to pee non-stop though of course couldn't. I am not sure why it hurts so bad- I also had a stent in my urethra after the surgery and when that was pulled out I didn't even feel it.

I hate all the medical experiences I have had but I do that think it will help me with the career...

Oh and about the Penis- I went to a cadaver lab in HS with my homeschool A&P class... we happened to be on the reproductive system- one of the girls hid behind a pole the entire time we were on the male- it was priceless...she is now engaged and getting married next month and several of us have teased her about hiding on her wedding night 😉

I wonder what instructions women (and men?) get in medical school about "what to do if a guy is standing at attention" and you need to examine him...

I'd say it's pretty simple: just say, "We may need to put a catheter in you today," and I think your problem will be solved pretty quickly.🙂

P.S. I'm female, but married with 2 boys. I've noticed that men, regardless of age, seem to have a really strong instinctive reaction when the word "catheter" is even mentioned--even if it's just a description of someone else's procedure.

just as long as you don't have to deal with these guys:
