While discussing the test center experience with a classmate, I was telling him how we had to pull out our empty pockets to get into the test room and had video cameras on us at all times during the test. His story was quite different. He told me that at another center where he took his mcat, some students were actually using calculators for the science portions!?

I don't see how a test center could let this happen... it would be a huge disadvantage for those of us who had nothing but pencil and paper. This is anecdotal and I don't know anyone else who used that same center, but the person seemed pretty credible. Has anyone else ever heard of this??

That sounds ridiculous.
