Is there anyone using Interfolio this cycle? I can't seem to decide. How much does it cost say to send 5 LORs to 15 schools or so? 75 copies total. Thank you.

$5 per transaction, and I think you can send as many as you like

5 x 15 = $75 plus whatever it costs to sign up.

I used interfolio last year, whatever it costs....its worth it.

If it works as well as some say it does, I think it would definately be a benefit. I didn't use it last year because one or two schools commented that it was not their "prefered" method....but after dealing with trying to get the LORS together myself, it would definately be worth any amount of $$.

...I specifically didn't complete applications at some schools because after sending the LORs multiple times, they still said they had not received them....

Can you clarify this a bit? It costs only $5.00 per transaction right? So does this mean I can send 5 letters or recommendation to a school and pay only $5?

there is a fee to open an account based on the how many years you want them to store your files. It should hold about 100 documents. I chose $45 for 5 years.

Pricing is per delivery. It does not matter how many documents you want to include. It is one fee for each institution.

Electronic delivery - $4
US Mail delivery - $5
International Postal Service delivery - $6
USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) - $9
2-3 day delivery and tracking - $14
Overnight 12:00 PM EST delivery and tracking (request must be made before 2PM EST of the same business day) - $25
Rush overnight 12:00 PM delivery and tracking (request must be made before 4 PM EST of the same business day) - $40
International 2-3 day delivery and tracking - $45

Yes, this is correct. I think it was $4 last year.

Interfolio rocks. You can send any document you upload. Interfolio uses your ugrad school logo, so it seems as if the LOR's could have come from your university committee. I've heard some universities actually require the use of Interfolio. It is such a great deal and will provide you with tracking information on the receipt of LOR's plus the outbound mailings you designate.
