Has anyone had a with a school NOT accepting Interfolio? Please post if you know of a school that has a problem with Interfolio.

thanks

can anyone explain this interfolio thing to me? i'm not using interfolio, but i think my school does something similar. all my letters will be scanned into some system from which schools will be able to download them. do people who use interfolio need to inform the schools that their LORs are up, or do schools just go to it themselves? so confused... 😕

Interfolio is a letter service. Your recommendation writers send a copy of their letter to Interfolio's main office and they hold them for you. When you want to send a document, you tell Interfolio, via their website. They will then nicely package your requested letters and send them to the school you indicated. I am using it and it is a godsend. You don't have to hassle your recommendation writers every time you need a letter sent and you can verify where and when letters were sent, which leaves no room for error in addressing the letters except on your behalf.

Yes, you can have them sent from regular USPS, rush, or overnight (which is like $40)
