East Asia International student.
Attended U.S. public school (top 50) that has a great med school.
Sociology Major.
sGPA-3.78--I had a rough freshman year because of various difficulty adapting to US cultures and academic environment. Only got 1 B- from Ochem 2 after freshman year.

300h research experience (evolutionary biology and psychology lab)-no publication
200h clinical volunteering with children and eldrely patients interaction.
20h shadowing neurology resident in US 50+h shadowing in home country at my dad's hospital.

I manage my investment fund since 2016, and started taking outside investor's money since 2018. Asset under management is now $750,000 (dont know if this will help me)

Since my international student status, I dont have many choices. I'd like to know what are my chances for the following schools?

-Boston Univ
-Mt. Sinai
-Albert Einstein
-Emory
-Dartmouth
-Georgetown
-Univ Pittsburgh
-Tufts
-Univ Virginia
-Vanderbuilt
-Cornell

Thanks!

GPA and MCAT is great, though that 507 might make some people wonder. Internationals are also expected to have higher GPA/MCAT than Americans. How long ago was this? Your volunteering's tad bit on the lower side as well. Any nonclinical volunteering? You might also want to have a bit more shadowing hours - I'm not sure how shadowing outside of US will be received by adcoms.

- Boston takes tons of internationals, but keep in mind that it's a very low-yield school. They also want to see your commitment to community.
- Same low-yield idea also goes to Georgetown
- Forget about Tufts (never takes international)
- Virginia matriculated two internationals last year. Pittsburgh 3. According to @gyngyn, they're likely to be inside candidates.

I think you're okay to apply to Sinai, Einstein, Emory, Dartmouth, Vandy, Cornell. You might be at a disadvantage as your stats are slightly lower than median for Sinai, Vandy, Cornell.

Also, as an international student, I think your list needs to be greater - also consider applying to int-friendly schools like SLU, Jefferson, Tulane, Rosy Franklin, Kentucky, Wayne State.

I will start non-clinical volunteering soon, and I have been teaching assitant for many semesters, VP of a fraternity as leadership. how many shawdowing hour do you recommend?

I think your list is slightly top heavy, you might want to add more mid and low tier school
