hey, are there any international applicants here? which schools are most friendly towards accepting intl students? thanks!!

Schools with the highest percentage of international students according to AAMC are Howard, Yale, Harvard, U. Chicago, Loma Linda, Kentucky, Stanford, in that order. Boston and Wayne State have a large number of internationals but not a high percentage due to their class size. I have the information written down (to give to an inernational friend) but don't have the citation, search the AAMC website to find it. International attendance is probably a good indicator for how good their financial aid policy for international students is.

Hopkins currently does not have good aid for internationals, but they are really working on their internaitonal student financial aid policy and hope to have something soon. Probably doesn't help you for this cycle (though keep your ear to the ground just in case something is announced), but I thought I'd let some of the international applicants that plan to apply in a few years know.

All schools I applied to take internationals (mdapps)
The top international-friendly schools are yale, washu, harvard, hopkins etc..

the cream of the crop basically. They don't care where you're from. They simply want the best.
