Oregon Health and Science University has a one year non-categorical internship available for 2025-2026 in OMFS, starting July 1, 2025. Please contact Mark Engelstad (Program Director) if interested at [email protected]

The OHSU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experiences in dentoalveolar procedures, in addition to exposure to broad scope OMFS including orthognathics, trauma, benign and malignant pathology, TMJ procedures, and pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery including cleft care. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your application if interested in pursuing an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in the future. This position will allow you to function at the PGY-1 level with on call activities, scheduled dentoalveolar cases, operating room experiences, and learning how to manage inpatients.

The salary is competitive, includes health and malpractice, 4 weeks of paid vacation, flexibility during interview scheduling, and meal money. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions via this thread or contact our program director, Mark Engelstad (email listed above).
