For those of you that have either interviewed at Nova or have received interviews before...

How long after you completed your supplemental application did they get in contact with you?

If I remember correctly, I mailed my supplemental application in early December and received an interview offer sometime in mid-February. I interviewed on March 3rd.

I know their interviews start in October and go through May or June. I wonder if you were the exception to this or they normally call the applicants earlier than a couple of months of waiting because it is rolling admission.

I don't know if I completely understand what you're saying here. But yes, Nova does operate on a rolling admissions process. There are students in my class who interviewed in October and some who didn't interview until late April. It usually takes a litle over a month after your interview to hear whether you were accepted or not. I was told that the admissions committee meets every 3-4 weeks to review interviews. I would recommend completing the supplemental application as quickly as you can.

So if that is true and they do infact meet every 3-4 weeks, that means that those who have received interviews for the first week of October are those that will be interviewing in October only. Those who did not get that interview have to wait until November (End of October to get the phone call that they will be interviewed in November). Instead of every week in October a new batch of interviews come in. I am guessing that is the case with them.

I don't think it is as cyclic as you describe. The adcom will conduct interviews M-F on an ingoing basis for several months, not just 1 week/month. I believe I received my interview invite in early-mid Feb. When I called to make an appt. there were many days avaiable for me to pick from. I could have interviewed that same week if I wanted, but because I'm from out of state I needed a couple of weeks to take off work and make travel arrangements. There may be some people who received interview offers already but cannot make it until November anyway.

I found out on webstar that under processed applications, one of them is the pharmcas and the other being the supplemental. There have been two of them underneath processed applications until today, now there is only one. Anyone know if that means anything?
