What's up guys. I bought a dark navy blue suit the other day but I am trying to figure out what shoes I should wear. I have some dark brown slip ons, some black lace up shoes, and some red oxblood (burgandyish) loafers.

I am getting the vibe that the red oxblood loafers are the more fashionable of the pairs but I feel like black is the norm for interviews.

Any advice would be very helpful!

Purely my taste in fashion but unless its required I say ditch the suit jacket. Suits are for funeral parlors lol. if it's necessary I think a navy blue suit is the best color, but I would personally not pair it with red shoes. I'd go with the black for sure.

Proper formal interview attire is a suit and tie. Report back when you are the only one not wearing a suit at your interviews.

Don't listen to the person saying to ditch the jacket. I was at an interview last week and every single guy was in a suit.

As far as the color of the shoes, the burgundy would probably look good but the black will blend in the best. So decide how much you want to stand out.

Lace-up vs. Slip-on for an interview? Black dress shoes.

definitely wear the suit. Brown or burgundy colored shoes with navy...stay away from black. Lace ups would be preferable to loafers, but either would be ok. Just don't put pennies in the loafers!!!

good luck

and I'm just sitting in front of my computer waiting for an interview invite...

Black lace-ups with some kiwi polish buffed into them. Stylin.
