I've been on interview feedback for nearly a month, but I have several interviews coming up. I was looking for some great answers to come back with. Also looking for a few questions that would be appropriate to ask the faculty and the students. Since some have already went through the interview phase, just looking for what sort of answers you have given. My next interview is Des Moines, Samuel Meritt, and Kent. I heard Des Moines is pretty rapid fire in questions. Des Moines is also my top choice so I am wanting to do very well there. Any insight will be beneficial. Thanks

My understanding is that you have already looked at the interview feedback section on SDN and you want to know what answers to give to certain questions you get. My best advice is to formulate the answers to these questions yourself. By doing this you can be better prepared to answer all the random things that aren't necessarily mentioned in the interview feedback section.

For example, if the interviewer asks, " why choose this school?" You can answer based on what you find interesting rather than what others have found to be interesting. This sets you apart. As far as questions to ask, you need to determine what you find important in the education you will receive. If you formulate questions based on your interests it will also make you stand out.

Just interviewed at DMU on 10/14, accepted today. Some of the group thought it was rapid fire questions, while others, like myself had much more of a conversation. I was asked maybe 4 questions and the interview itself lasted no more than 15 minutes.

Hey man congrats! I was accepted there too and will be attending next Fall!!! I was only asked 5 questions in total. I thought it was very direct at first and then its turned conversational real fast. I overall loved the campus as well as the interview day. If this is your top choice, I am please to see you there!

I interviewed at DMU on Monday and agree that at first the questions were more-so rapid fire, but then it turned into a conversation. While the questions were more intense than what I got at Kent, the interviewers were very nice and receptive to the answers I was giving.

And no, not a group interview! I think Bluecollar meant just the group that was there that day interviewing.

Correct, I was referring to the group of us that interviewed that day. And congrats guys that got accepted! I in fact will be going there in the fall so I'll see you guys then!

That's a relief. I hate group interviews lol
