Interview Feedback

Not that it really matters, but I have gotten a couple request for interview feedback...Can I assume that these institutions ranked me and they want to know where they failed (stroking my own ego) or are these sent out to all applicant's (seems excessive and would suck if the applicant didnt match anywhere)

i'd say it's probably sent to all applicants that they interviewed. but i don't know because I haven't gotten emails like that. many programs do want to improve the interview process every year and post match is the best time to get that feedback.

I got a fairly extensive survey from the place I ranked #1. I matched at my #3 (I was still happy). Needless to say, I didn't fill out their survey. In all honesty though, the reason I didn't fill out the survey is that it was so long and tedious, not due to being bitter.
