I have a interview coming up with my pre-med committee. I was just wondering does anyone know a good link or can direct me to a thread that includes everything I need to know before going into the interview. I dont really know much about various healthcare policies, and problems physicians face.

I was really stressed out about my committee interview and trying to read up on current healthcare issues etc. I had no reason to worry though, because although it was highlighted to me "formal" it was actually just a time for the interviewer to clear up any questions she had about my activites etc. Obviously try and ask other students who went through it at your school what it was like, but just try to relax, take it easy and put your best foor forward.

My committee interview was formal, but there was no consequences for not bringing your A game. First and foremost, it was a chance for the Dean who was compiling my committee letter to learn more about me personally so she would have more to write about. Second, it was a way for them to critique your interview skills/answers to common interview questions. It was not a test, it was a resource. Besides, why would your school not want you to get in to med school? It doesn't make sense.

I seriously doubt you will get more than one healthcare type question. The number of uninsured is the worst problem in US healthcare. I'd google that and its related issues for about an hour and then you should be cool.
