In light of another thread on this forum, I thought it'd be appropriate to title a thread regarding this subject to make sure everyone sees this. I, too, had a problem with bulk mail filters filtering out important emails, albeit not with regards to medical school. However, several students have already mentioned somewhat severe consequences as a result of not getting important emails (i.e. interview invites), likely a result of an automatic email filtration system. Anyways, just so you're aware, bulk email filters on public accounts such as Hotmail can sometimes filter out important messages. It is definitely worth disabling all filters for the next few months.
