Interview in Jan. at Rosalind Franklin?

So has anyone gotten an interview from Rosalind Franklin (Finch) for January? I think you were supposed to find out today...I didn't 🙁

How do you know Rosalind Franklin lets you know if you have an interview today? Was it by snail? email?

it seems that people were calling the school, and were found out.
I called them yesterday (one day earlier than the correct time!!!!!), and only found out that I was on the acceptable interview pool, but they haven't decided the date yet. They decided it today (I saw soneone posted on the other Rosalind Franklin thread earlier today).

the staff told me that ppl in possible interview pool will get interview anytime till March I think. Hopefully she won't lie to me [just to be sweet].

Jan 5th--I found out weeks ago when I called after getting interviews at UChicago and Loyola. They told me I'd receive a package in the mail (Still haven;t).

yeah what does this mean? i was also told i "came up positive through initial screening for interview" and now im in the "acceptable interview pool" for interviews in february for which they will send out invites in january.

this is just their way of saying, you didn't get an interview this time. maybe next time, maybe not, if not, thanks, but no thanks. right?

They told me the same thing when I called them a couple of months ago--then I received an interview about a month later.

I think it means they want to interview you, but the slots are filled up--perhaps its b/c they send the invites in batches, so you may hear from them in their next batch.

This is why I won't call. It seems like the more information they give you, the more confusing it is. They rarely give straight answers over the phone. And I'm afraid the only straight answer I'll get is "you've been rejected." I think I'll just wait for the mail. 😳

I got a snail mail invite today. I've never called them though. They gave me the options of Jan 4,5,6,11,12,13,25,26, or 27. Have to call tomorrow to schedule cuz I get my mail late in the afternoon. Hope this helps someone.

wait..so they're already telling people that they're gonna get interviews in february? that leaves march april may...i'm only in the POSSIBLE interview pool...they'll never get to me 🙁

wait..so they're already telling people that they're gonna get interviews in february? that leaves march april may...i'm only in the POSSIBLE interview pool...they'll never get to me 🙁

no, we're in the same boat. february is just their next round of interviews. they fill up their interview slots 1 month at a time. so in jan, they will pick from the possible interview pool for feb interviews. then likewise in feb for march, etc.

hopefully we'll get interviews soon. i know a couple people who got interviews in march and april last year and got in.

Oh my God!! That is soooo terrible! I'd be so pissed. Well that really makes me feel good about applying there. I can just see myself showing up for the first day of class, and the professors going "I'm sorry, we didn't mean accept you. Call us next year."

I called and ask for the status (of course, I do not have the confidence and courage to ask for the interview =P)

Well congrats to you!! 👍 That's fantastic! I take it you called and asked? I'm still too scared to call. I don't think I could handle a rejection over the phone. It's easier when they mail me the letters. 😳 But who knows! I might have something good in the mail. I wish you the best at your interview. 🙂
