Interview in Jan. What do you think of my chances? (plus, question about LLU)

I just received an e-mail from Nova for the invitation of interview on Jan. 5th. It's my first interview and I'm soooooooo excited! 😀

But, since mine was a late batch..... and so many threads here seem to
be discouraging about the acceptance from interviews scheduled after Dec. 🙁🙁🙁

Can anyone guess my chances to get in Nova after the interview in Jan. ?




Also, I am wondering the admission process of Loma Linda. Has anyone heard from LLU for an interview, yet? LLU seems to want all the applications to be submitted very early (Sept. 2nd, I guess?). So, I was
wondering if LLU may process the application all at once instead of following ordinary rolling basis.

I didn't apply to Nova but I've heard back from LLU. I got invited for an interview about three weeks ago but haven't scheduled it yet. They update it on AADSAS pretty quickly and send you the invitation using snail mail. No phone call or email from LLU.

When LLU wants to interview you, your AADSAS will change to "Invited for interview." Within a couple of days you should receive a snailmail letter with a formal introduction to interview as well as instructions on how to set up your interview.

On the inverview page they have 2 options:

1) Small group interview day--3-4 hours with interview, tour of the campus, and lunch presentation (1 day each in october, november, december, and january) When I called october and november were all full.

2) Individual interview day--2 hours with interview and tour of the dental school. They offer them Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the rest of the cycle. I chose this option just because I thought it would be better to be pre-december.

For me, it is ambiguous to tell.... I sent my online secondary application
in early August and paid the fee on the same date. However, when I checked the website, my app. was still there on the 'app. in progress' to be submitted. When I tried to re-submit it, the website required me to pay it again!! So, I e-mailed the school; and as you might guess well, no reply for the next 2-3 weeks. I called the school to check if my payment was complete (and of course, yes!). Finally, I decided to submit it, choosing 'pay it later' option. Everything was done around the same time as you.
