Interview Invitation Question (Columbia)

I notice some people received the first round of interview invitation from Columbia last Thursday.

Does anyone know clearly about the interview invitation timeline?
Reading the threads on SDN, I thought that there are a few specific dates (like once or twice within a month) when they send out the interview invitation at the same time to everyone whom are considered eligible.

But, when I called today, the lady who answered the phone told me that the application reviews are "on-going", and interviews are sent out "more readily than I thought" (if I understood her correctly. She was quite rude by the way), not just once or twice on August and September. Does anyone have any idea about this process?

And, my AADSAS application has been sent out in third-batch, and I have taken DAT July 19, and official score was received to AADSAS by the end of July, and AADSAS application indicates "received/under review" from quite a while ago.
However, when I asked, she mentioned that my application was not review before the time frame of the first interview invitation last week. Is it likely? Since my AADSAS app is submited beforehand, and unofficial score sent to school on July 20 (as far as I know, Columbia accept unofficial score). I was puzzled if she meant my application was disregarded for the first interview invitation or was just simply not reviewed yet.

And, when would be the second round of interview invitation? (or, is there such thing?) Will the new interview invites be provided on a weekly bases?

Any one who has insights, please leave comments.

First interview date is friday, Sept. 14, and every friday thereafter. When I called to schedule they were already booked through mid October.

Actually i was wondering about the school's interview invite notification date, rather than interview scheduling date. Thabks though!

Did you submit your supplemental and receive confirmation that your app was complete? If you didn't get an email about your fee being received and about the app being complete then it's possible your file just wasn't reviewed in time. In terms of batches they reviewed at least up to the fifth batch for that invite round.

I copied this link off of someone else's post on another thread, but use this to look at last year's cycle and you can see when people posted their stuff. Things change though, for one thing the invites seem to be coming in later this year.
