*** ADDENDUM *** A person (see? I'm keeping you anonymous🙂) responded to the PM and brought up a good point... some of these programs interview very few people and only offer one date when they invite you. Therefore, the person didn't want to reveal the date in case that date makes it possible for other people (or the program) to figure out who they are. I certainly don't blame them for wanting to remain as anonymous as possible on here.
Today I saw that both Drexel and the Pitt County East Carolina programs updated their interview dates on DIGA, so I will be sure to put those dates in the next time I post a new entry on this thread 🙂 (come on .... give me an interview... someone... please....)

Just to clarify - are people bolding new additions to the interview/rejection school list? Or are the bolded schools ones that people got interviews/rejections from?

You got it. Ideally, people will bold any changes they make to the list so you can quickly see what that change is. (This will be more relevant/helpful as the list gets longer. Right now the list is short, so you could figure out what's new without the bolding). Even new dates that interviews are offered are helpful to know about, so we know a program might be giving out interviews in batches.
Seems like the majority of people are following that format. A few people aren't following the format and do something else, which is totally fine. Then the next person usually incorporates it into their list when they are updating. Seems to be working out pretty well so far. Thanks for everyone who updated! 🙂

From what I've been hearing from my 4th year sub-I's, many more people than usual are applying to derm this year. At my program in particular (well-regarded midwest Ivy league), number has >quadrupled compared to previous years.

they sent rejections out the day after i applied to them (which was a Sunday)

Midwest Ivy school? thought they were all in the northeast.
For me last year, things didn't really pick up until the week of Thanksgiving and the following week. Its still way early...no stress.

Cleary he/she meant that there is a lot of ivy strewn around the campus. And every year the school enters the league of Ivy to show off their magical ivy prowess. This is the only way to fully accentuate what is to many just an ordinary shrub. Shrubs too need their time to shine. Please, leave this horticulturalist be and attack their midwestern roots no longer!

I went through the derm match last year. Try not to get discouraged by all of these rejections. I applied to >80 places and got 8 interviews. Do the math- that's over 70 rejection letters/emails I got (there were about 3 programs I never heard a peep from). Chances are you will be getting way more rejections than offers- sometimes several in one day. So don't beat yourselves up- just distract yourselves with wine/beer, friends, yoga, shopping, football etc.
Also- I only got one interview offer before thanksgiving.
I ended up matching at my top choice- a highly ranked program. Match day was thrilling.

Congrats on the Penn State interview. I was really hoping to get one there. My friend matched there last year and had great things to say about their program.
I didn't get an email today so I guess that's another rejection. 🙁
I grew up in Penn State for part of my childhood... (OK I know Hershey is not the same city as State College... but still close). Maybe I should have wrote about it in my personal statement. Seems like overkill to modify each personal statement though. Plus, it probably would not have made a difference.

Yes, I am curious, too. If someone gets an interview offer today, for example, but I do not, does that automatically mean me and everyone else who did not get an offer today is going to be rejected?

Some programs just divide and conquer. Each faculty member might get 50 random applications and get to pick out 4 they want to interview, for example... and not everyone turns in their list at the same time.
Also, I've found sometimes programs will have "waitlist" piles
