Hi All,

Do you guys mind posting some of the specific questions you were asked during interviews, especially those that were challenging to you? And maybe how you handled those questions and what you wish you would of done differently.

I am especially worried about the open-ended scenario questions in which you have to explain what you would do. I feel that while there might not be a right answer, some people might be biased in terms of what they want to hear from the applicant.

I think it would be awesome to have a thread with a variety of questions/scenarios. Obviously everyone response will tend to differ but gaining some familiarity and awareness of how others handled challenging questions will be beneficial. I hope to see many responses and thank you in advance.

🙂🙂🙂

In these types of questions, there are NOT things we want to hear, but there can be things we DON'T want to hear. No, I'm not sharing.

I understand that there will be obvious bad answers, logically.

Is it wrong to share types of questions that could be asked?

Yep. Helpful for some schools, not so much for others. But it's a great resource.

Thanks for mentioning it! I checked it out already, briefly.

Yea it does seem helpful to some extent. But there is not much discussion, just mostly stats.

I guess it depends on the school. The ones I looked at had huge amounts of examples of questions asked.

I'll bite. You get the question on the secondaries but be prepared to answer it again: "why this school?" You applied there so you better be okay with going to school there, but you need reasons as to why.

Why should I do your thinking for you?

Wow, ok?

I am not asking anyone to think for me. I was simply asking for other to share their experiences - if they did not mind. I do not believe there is anything wrong with sharing our experiences with those that follow after us, especially if it can help them feel slightly more comfortable about what is probably one of the most important days of their life. Whatever questions I am asked, I am going to answer with my personal truth, but that answer would probably be more elaborate and honest if I have had some familiarity with the subject of interest.
