I was informed recently I got an interview for LIU 😱! My interview is next week, so I just want to ask those who have been through this, what is the interview like? What do they ask you? What can you do to get yourself prepared? A little concerned because I don't want to make myself look bad in front of them..lol. Thanks😉

For any interview I suggest reading some articles on job interviews and writing out some responses to basic questions. Graduate school interviews and job interviews are very similar in substance. Basic questions such as "what is your greatest weakness?" , " what is your greatest strength?", and " why do you want to go to pharmacy school?" sound simple but I always found those difficult to answer. I wrote out answers ahead of time so I would have a general idea of what I wanted to say if asked these questions. Good luck with your interviews.

Prepare answers for commonly asked questions. (Check out the interview feedback page for your school on SDN) Do mock interviews. Practice and practice some more.

Look at the interview feedback for the school. Compile a list of commonly asked questions and formulate answers for them. Check out the school and read up on their program, history, and mission/value statements, etc... Don't forget to practice (mock interview, rehearsing your answers). Good luck!
