Hey all!

I just got my first regular admissions interview invite from UCLA. I say regular because, as many of you know, I applied ED to UPenn and got deferred to regular decision. Well, since I am in NY and I really do not have much money to go to California more than once, I was wondering if I should call UCSF and ask if they plan to interview me. I know this has been asked before, but I checked the UCSF status page and I have only been complete since today. I was recently offered a secondary (11/24) so I just got complete. I would feel weird calling because I am sure my application will not be reviewed until after the holidays. I still have to schedule my UCLA interview. Should I just wait a few weeks to call UCSF and plan a later interview (late February or March) at UCLA? I really think it would be stupid to call so early when I am not sure my file has even been thoroughly reviewed for consideration for an interview invite. What do you all think? Thanks for any advice! 🙂

Couldn't hurt, but in my experience, the UCSF admissions staff aren't too accomodating.

BUMP! Any other suggestions? Thanks Supa!🙂

i think i would try to wait past the holidays. i actually put two of my ny interviews in a week...so maybe you'll have luck too. the plane costs too damn much to fly twice...but if it does not work out, i'm sure the acceptance letter is worth the cost.

I think it'll be hard, plus I haven't had very good experience with scheduling at a UC school (Well technically only one, b/c I only applied to UCLA)
