I have two upcoming interviews at UHS-COM (Kansas City) on April 10 and DMSU on April 20. Ok I was thinking of good general ?'s to ask them and a friend of mine asked this at her grad school interview. "What will it take or what do you need to know or hear from me to ensure you that I am the right applicant for this school", or something to that effect. It sounds good in theory and it would let them know that you are serious about attending, but it may rub some in the wrong spot or be inappropriate. What do you guys think? And for those of you that know anything about the personalities of those doing the interviews at each of these schools please apply them to this situation.

I would suggest having a written list of pertinent questions to ask. Don't ask ones that have been adequately covered, unless you need further clarification.

After the interview at UHS, I was prepared with all of these questions... "how do students do on the boards, is there an opportunity for clinical exposure prior to the third year, What is Campaign 2000 and how is the "genesis project" coming along? Will the transition effect the students greatly?" And, as a final thing that I asked at all of my interviews, "Is there any other information that I can offer about myself that you do not already have?" Feel free to use any of these questions... Good luck at your interviews! UHS is wonderful and the faculty are great!! I felt right at home there and would have probably gone there if I was not from Pennsylvania (I am going to PCOM). I got an interview at DMU, but I declined it because I had already decided on PCOM; however, I hear that DMU is great too!!

IF you ask them a specific question to some school program or something they will be impresed that research the school and know where you are getting yourself into. This worked for me, but most important thing, do ask them a question, this is the best opportunity you will have to decide if this is the right school for you.
