Interview withdraw?

Hello everyone,

I have an interview coming at Finch and I was getting ready to go and suddenly I have my first acceptance from GW and it made me think twice. I have no idea how finch is compared to GW and if it is, at all, worth going for the interview? Even if I get accepted at both places, my gut feeling is I would prefer GW over Finch. So I am thinking may be I should withdraw the interview since I like GW better than Finch, right? Besides, it would be nice to give the interview spot for someone who might like Finch better than I do. But the other part of me is telling me to give finch a fair chance and should base my decision after I visit the school??? I know this should be a personal decision but it would make my decision easier if I know how these two schools are compared and what their good and bad sides are.

Any input will be appreciated,

Even if you think that you would pick GW, go to the Finch interview. First, maybe you'll love it -- you never know until you've been there. Second, it won't hurt to go. Third, there's no reason not to have two acceptance letters instead of one.

You've come all this way. One more interview won't hurt.

gw all the way. in fact i w/d from my finch interview before i got into a school. risky, but it saved me a bundle.

If money isn't an issue, and time isn't an issue, I'd say definitely go to the interview. Interviews can be fun and give you a chance to see another school. I agree with HollyJ that you have come a long way, and after all your hard work (school, MCAT, ECs, AMCAS, secondaries, etc.) these interviews are kind of a reward and a chance to gain another acceptance. You may end up loving Finch and then you'd regret that you never went. Or next year you may look back and wish you had seriously looked at more schools. The opportunity is there so you might as well take it. Good luck.
