hey guys
i have a couple of interviews coming up at KCOM and UHS-COM! I'm really excited about them! Anyhoo, any tips on intelligent questions to ask my interviewers? I do pretty well at interviews but I always get stuck at the very end b/c I simple do not know whether I should ask my interviewer's questions or not. This seems silly--but I really have trouble with this sort of thing 😛
any tips on this would be greeeatly appreciated!

ALWAYS ask questions. I would recommend staying with a student at UHS. And even if you stay with a student you should still have some questions to ask them. For instance, things that were important to me were if I could do clinicals in my home state and if people matched well in my home state. I even asked my interviewers for a match list because none was given out. I also asked about the cost of housing HOUSES not APT which was most of info that students gave me. Honestly ask whatever you feel is important. at the end of the interview, give them a mini interview of things that you are looking for in a school. For UHS they have a super high pass rate on boards 97% which was important to me. OH if you have other offers and need a quick response don't be afraid to tell them.... at one interview I went on i new i loved the school and told them I had been accepted at school..... and that i would appreciate a quick response. I think it makes you look more competative and appealing to them.

Click on the interview feedback link on this site, and you will read about specific details for each school. That should conjure up some very specific questions to ask at each school. This is how I came up with my questions, and it impresses the interviewers since it really looks like you did a detailed research on their school.

Oh, and don't be afraid to ask questions you are genuinely interested in knowing, even if it's not necessarily a positive aspect of the school. My interviewers didn't mind that I asked why their board scores were low compared to other schools. It also helps make your decision much easier in the end.
