Interviewing in cast and crutches

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
How bad of a look is this? Does it kill one's chances of getting accepted?
Why would it? As long as you didn't get injured trying to rob a bank or something you should be fine.

Be prepared to discuss it at interviews. Own up to your brittle bones and don't make excuses. Explain how you've worked to strengthen your bones going forward (vitamin D, Calcium, exercise, etc). Apply smartly. Some schools really value a good repair/remodeling story.

thank mr skeletal

Ya'll are ridiculous hahaha. Again, thank you all for calming me down!!

Next post: "Where can I get someone to put a cast on my leg and lend me some crutches? I've got an interview next week."

Obvious, sympathetic injury is the new pocket square.

If anything, it will show your dedication to interview at the school despite being injured lol.

If you’re interviewing Ortho, you better know what bone you broke and how it was fixed. 😉

If the OP interviews ends up interviewing with an elderly psychiatrist they can probably just make up the bone and throw in some random acronyms for the procedure. “Oh, I broke my crutonix bone and tore my FML ligament, but an ORI-ABC fixed all that and now I’m TTWB.”
