Interviews even with retaking Aug. MCAT

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but do schools give out interviews to applicants that retook the august mcat. I indicated on my AMCAS that I was going to retake it so the schools know that, but my application to all my schools are complete and I am wondering if I should have an hope that I could possibly get an interview with my low mcat score or will i have to wait until aug. scores are out before i hear from schools.

I'm still waiting too. I got a thin envelope in the mail yesterday from Wash U.... but luckily it was to just tell me everything was complete. Sometimes I wish I would have not retaken the test and just went with the lower score and sooner application responses. Has anyone waiting for the august mcat received anything more than a 'complete file' mailing?

I received 2 interview invites even after letting AMCAS know I was retaking (my previous score was a 28).

At NYMC and GWU.

I applied to 19 schools and only the above two did not put me on hold until they receive the August MCAT

man...i'm in the same boat as you guys...20+ completed secondaries...0 interviews...and waiting for my aug mcat scores. let me tell you....it's painful to see everyone else on sdn talk about interviews and i ain't getting any love.
