ok so how long after interviews do you find out if you are accepted or not? I am totally new with this..hence, the question.. Also, can you find out the day off..and do they usually have interviews around christmas time?

Varies by the school. Some schools make you wait months after an interview to know, and they inform people in blocks, whereas some schools tend to inform the individual of their status within a few weeks (tulane comes to mind). I think most schools don't have interviews from the December 20-Jan 1 region.

Depending on the school, and your strength as an applicant, information about a decision can get to you in as little as 2 weeks, or could take up until August 2011.
