I will be applying this summer for pharmacy school. I know the interviews are done around the fall or early spring. For those of you who have been through the interview process, did you have a lot of flexibility in choosing the dates? Do interviews occur during the weekend? did you take classes during this time?
Thanks in advance!

Each school I interviewed at gave me 3 date options. Most were offered on Mon, Wed or Fri. I never saw weekend options. I took 10 quarter credits when I went on my interviews. I was at a community college, so my professors knew me, and they were understanding of me missing class. Some of the other interviewees I talked to from bigger universities did not have similar experiences (I missed a test because of interviews and was allowed to retake it, a guy that I met was not able to retake a test he was missing because of the interview).

Worried about it when you get to the apps cycle. For now enjoy life.

When I interviewed, the interview options were generally Thursday, Friday, or Monday for my school. Some people received interview invites as close to the date as the week of the next interview, although it is a rolling admissions school, so they had the option of picking later dates when they opened.

I had to get the date off work, but I didn't have any classes. Many students said their professors were understanding, but a couple were balancing which classes they couldn't make up with which interviews they'd attend. I believe one person told me he was going to take the C in a class he previously had an A in so he could attend interviews. I think it's best to be up front, give as much notice as you can, and make sure the prof has a positive opinion of your work ethic otherwise that semester.

I applied to a few schools but only went on 2 interviews. They were on a Tuesday and Thursday. I interviewed at Midwestern Glendale(and will be attending) on Thursday but I know there was another group interviewing the next day. Most invitations for an interview came less than 2 weeks before the interview date.

I am taking classes at a CC but I spoke to all of my teachers on the 1st day of class to let them know I was applying and would probably miss a few days for interviews. They were appreciative that I let them know from the 1st day but didn't cut me any slack on quizzes I missed.
