Hey everyone, I haven't used forums in a few years so if Introduction threads aren't a thing anymore, feel free to ignore! =)
I've started down the pre-med path several times throughout my 20's and always talked myself out of it, whether from a place of anxiety, self-doubt or financial worry. I have two B.S. degrees; one in Molecular Biology (2010) and another in Computer Science (2015). I worked in bench research for 5 years, then switched to programming/support after my post-bacc in CS to increase my income so my wife and I could get a more stable foothold.
So, here I am turning 30 next month and trying not to kick myself for giving up on this dream so many times in the past decade! My focus right now is to start volunteering and shadowing, and reach out to the pre-med advisor at my old undergrad. If I'm not in here, you can find me suffering in the MCAT forum!
