At a community college I took intro to chem and bio 101 as core classes (everyone on my class was non science major) it was just to help me get a better start towards gen chem and bio. Other non science students just took it as a core class.

Does this count towards my science gpa?

For example at my school I took intro to chem 101 then took the major classes gen chem 121 and 122.

Also would something like a physics class on the universe count towards science gap? it was also a random class i took when i first started college almost like an elective

If it has a BIOL or CHEM or BIO or CHE or whatever prefix, it probably counts toward the sGPA, yeah.

So even a random freshman class like "chemistry and society chem 103" This class was completely random and not even counted towards my major? just doesn't seem like a typical chem class

AACOMAS will go by the prefix, they are just crunching in the letters and numbers that they see on the form.

Doesnt matter what year, doesnt matter what was actually taught in the class. They just do the calculations with the course names and grades given.

Aye, if it has a CHEM prefix, it's counted.

if it is a science it counts: bio, chem, pyhsics and its specific courses

for what its worth, I took an intro to chem course (which I did poorly in) and was able to replace it with gen chem I (which I did good in).
