"Introduction to Dentistry and Lab" - South Florida Course

Hello everyone!

For those of you who live in South Florida, have any of you heard of or taken the hands-on pre dental course that is being offered at Florida Atlantic University? "Intro to Dentistry and Lab"? I heard about it through word of mouth, but would like to know more!

I’ve taken the course and it’s great! It’s super hands on and you get a chance to experience and speak and learn from specialists from each field. The class allows you to really feel what it’s like work with a drill and do basic lab techniques. A lot of dental schools know about and it looks great on you application. I ended up learning so much about dentistry from the class which I got to talk about during my interviews. Let me know if you have any other questions about it! I’m happy to help

Is anyone allowed to take it? Like do you have to be enrolled at FAU as a student...

Yes, anyone can take it! It’s just located at FAU. I believe there’s also an online version where they send you the drill and all the materials.

I also took the class and loved it! I definitely recommend it! As said above anyone can take it, as long as you pay that $$$
