Yes, it certainly is irritating. Anyway, just thought I's take the opportunity to post an updtated list, if anyone is interested:
Inivites from (in somewhat geographical order):
Columbia
Cornell
Mt. Sinai
St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital
LIJMC
Albert Einstein-Montefiorre
Yale
Institute of Living
MGH/McLean
Brown
U. Pittsburgh
Johns Hopkins
Wash U
U. Iowa
Stanford (see above)
Still waiting to hear from:
NYU
U Penn
Creedmoor
Harlem Hospital
No rejections.
I would love to hear if anyone has heard from NYU or U Penn.
I, too, am waiting on UCSD.
Invites:
UC Irvine
UC Davis
U Arizona
U Nevada Reno
Northwestern
Invite from Penn this morning!😀
I go to Jefferson, and have applied to 11 programs along the East coast.
2 Interviews! UMDNJ-RWJ, AEMC (Philly)
1 Rejection.
question: i have an interview in late jan at ucsd and called to find out if there were any earlier dates available and thats when i found out about the wait lists. i guess they added another date (i think their latest date was feb 2
nd) bc of the large positive response...
These interviews are so late...When do we have to submit our rank list?
aka when is the latest you can interview and still have time to ponder over and possibly still do 2nd looks comfortably before you submit your choices?
Match lists are not due until mid-late Feb. The latest interview date I have seen offered so far is Feb 2, which leaves time for extra pondering and 2nd looks.question: i have an interview in late jan at ucsd and called to find out if there were any earlier dates available and thats when i found out about the wait lists. i guess they added another date (i think their latest date was feb 2

Anyone receive rejections from NYU, Columbia, or UCSF??? These are the only 3 schools I am still waiting on. I would just like to know either way so that I can finish making travel plans. Is it fair to say that if I haven't received an invite by the end of this week it is probably a rejection?

Here's my updated list In order of invitation.
U of Rochester
Yale
St. Elizabeth's Boston
Case Western
Wayne State
Loyola
UMDNJ Piscataway
St. Elizabeth's DC - but I'm not going to interview there
U Buffalo
Rosalind Franklin (Chicago Medical School)
Has anyone heard from Rush yet, rejection or interview? I'm still waiting on them.
on that note...has anyone heard from cambridge? when should we start thinking we are rejected?
yeah got the MGH reject along with Stanford (big surprise) and a scathing snail mail rejection from UCLA in very poor taste. forget considering them for fellowship, or anything for that matter in the future!![]()
I just got an interview with Yale (waitlisted) and Miami (program on some kind of probation). The strange thing is, Yale forwarded a past invite to me--that I never received, neither by email or on my eras. Strange.QUOTE]
I had the same thing with another program. I was doing an away Sub-I there, and had been told everyone who does this gets an interview, but I hadn't received one. I went to their office and asked, and they told me they had sent one through ERAS several days earlier, but for some reason it never went through- on ERAS, email, or anything. Thankfully I caught it before all their slots were full! Now I have to call all the other programs I haven't heard from yet.
I am a 4 th yr American int'l med student who just received a rejection from Maine Med Ctr psychiatry. They said it was due to no ecfmg certification. this seems odd. any thoughts? i thought this wasnt a concern for current American international med students. but what do i know.
any chance this could be a mistake? seems odd Yale would invite me and MMC would not. any advice would be appreciated.
