iPad - Future Dental Reference and Patient Communication

I just wanted to hear some other opinions on the iPad applications and how people think they will help/hurt dental students with their learning and practicing dentists with their patient communication. This is all relatively new and will most likely explode as people become more tech-savy and more applications are created. Check out some of these links:

Part of sales is creating or exaggerating a need. Therefore, I feel like these products - especially the apple ones - are gimmicks.

To each their own. I don't see why any tablet can't be added to overall office efficiency....including all Apple products.
