Which is better suited for med school, the ipad or a tablet ?
I wanna be able to write notes on my PDF books. Would I have problems getting my PDF medical library onto the iPad ( since I believe it doesn't have a flash drive). Also would an iPad be too slow?
Thanks alot

nice. Thanks. I don't know why it didn't show up in my search results

tablet of course, as long as you buy the right one. It should be able to do everything you would want to do on an ipad. Ipad is just a cheaper, smaller, alternative when you already have a lappy.

I got a tablet for med school thinking I'd use it, but so far, I haven't really used it yet (other than for the occassional doodle when I'm bored, but it doesn't really have any relevant usage, or so I've found). Any diagrams I want I can just get off the powerpoints, not try and draw a ****** version of it myself 🙂

Imo, you should just go with a laptop with a very chunky battery instead 🙂

Writing from my tablet PC. It is probably the coolest thing on earth. Let me know if you have any questions about the X201t

I have a X201t too, and I've found that while it's fun to write on it, I write faster and neater when I write with a pen and paper.

This. I still use laptops. I got a tablet long time ago, returned it b/c I wasn't impressed with the accuracy of the palm rejection. Though, by now Lenovo and HP both have pretty good palm rejection and I have found uses in both biochemistry and immunology where drawing out the pathways helps because I can't find pics with overall pathways on them. It saves time, b/c sure I can draw it on the computer with photoshop/paint, but that takes longer, my hand is faster than my mouse. 🙂
