When we enter in our classes, do we have to enter the titles exactly as they are in our transcript or can we write out the full title as stated in the course description? I have two seminars that read SOPH SEMINAR SOC SCI and SENIOR SEMINAR which will mean nil to anyone reading those titles.

Also, do we have to guess at classes we're taking second semester next year?

i can't remember the answer to your first question... i think you're supposed to put down exactly as written on your transcript.
someone confirm or debunk this, please.

as for senior classes, yes, you just predict to the best of your ability.

good luck.

yeah, I'm pretty sure that last year we were told to list them word for word from our transcript, probably so that it would be easy for AMCAS to "verify" them.

Hi,
I posted a link to the instruction manual for AMCAS under the AMCAS 2003 questions post.

Unfortunately, yes, you need to put the exact name and course number that are listed on your transcript. I am now in the process of changing my full titles to the confusing abbreviations that are listed. :p

Is this a pain in the arse or what?!? :p
